Nikon today has announced two new lenses. Finally adding to their prime lineup is the 24mm F/1.4G lens. This high=end lens features AF-S, weather-resistance sealing, and a nano coat. The other lens is the 16-35mm F/4 VR. This is the first ultra-wide angle full-frame zoom to be stabilized with lens stabilization. It features VR II (4-stops), nano coatings, and weather sealing.
Pricing:
24mm F/1.4G = $2200 USD (Holy COW! Makes the Canon look like a bargain at ~$1700.Then again, the Canon isn't that sharp. I'm willing to the Nikon is stellar at that price!)
16-35mm F/4G VR = $1260 (Pretty reasonable, but on the high side, IMO. We will have to see how it performs).
They should be available in the next month.
